hop of those help? I would like to suggest you use a ThreeTenABP library. With it can be written something like this:
    fun main() {
        val now = LocalDateTime.now()
        when (now.dayOfWeek) {
            DayOfWeek.MONDAY,
            DayOfWeek.TUESDAY,
            DayOfWeek.WEDNESDAY,
            DayOfWeek.THURSDAY -> {
                when {
                    inRange(now, 6, 10) -> tv.setText(R.string.available)
                    inRange(now, 10, 12) -> tv.setText(R.string.away)
                    else -> tv.setText(R.string.unavailable)
                }
            }
            DayOfWeek.FRIDAY -> {
                //todo
            }
            else -> {
                //todo
            }
        }
    }

    private fun inRange(now: LocalDateTime, start: Int, end: Int): Boolean =
        now.isAfter(now.withHour(start)) && now.isBefore(now.withHour(end))
import java.util.*

fun main() {
    val now = Calendar.getInstance()
    when (now.get(Calendar.DAY_OF_WEEK)) {
        Calendar.MONDAY,
        Calendar.TUESDAY,
        Calendar.WEDNESDAY,
        Calendar.THURSDAY -> {
            when {
                inRange(now, 6, 10) -> tv.setText(R.string.available)
                inRange(now, 10, 12) -> tv.setText(R.string.away)
                else -> tv.setText(R.string.unavailable)
            }
        }
        Calendar.FRIDAY -> {
            //todo
        }
        else -> {
            //todo
        }
    }
}

private fun inRange(now: Calendar, startHour: Int, startMinutes: Int, endHour: Int, endMinutes: Int): Boolean {
    val startTime: Calendar = now.clone() as Calendar
    startTime.set(Calendar.HOUR_OF_DAY, startHour)
    startTime.set(Calendar.MINUTE, startMinutes)
    val endTime: Calendar = now.clone() as Calendar
    endTime.set(Calendar.HOUR_OF_DAY, endHour)
    endTime.set(Calendar.MINUTE, endMinutes)
    return now.after(startTime) && now.before(endTime)
}

Count days in several time ranges

Tag : sql , By : lifchicker

it should still fix some issue I'm not a MYSQL dev but in MSSQL I would
Build a dates table (a table that has a record for every date between say 1900 and 2100, at least enough to easily cover the range you're looking at). Do a join from your table above to your dates table where dates_table.date between time_start and time_end Then count the distinct number of days

Mysql SUM time with ranges in different days

fixed the issue. Will look into that further What you can do is look for Start/Finish times that contain some or all of the target day, but "crop" the times to the limits of that day. For example:
SELECT SUM(
  UNIX_TIMESTAMP(
    CASE WHEN FinishTime > '2011-06-03 23:59:59' THEN '2011-06-03 23:59:59'
         ELSE FinishTime END
  ) -
  UNIX_TIMESTAMP(
    CASE WHEN StartTime < '2011-06-03 00:00:00' THEN '2011-06-03 00:00:00'
         ELSE StartTime END
  )
) AS seconds
FROM log
WHERE FinishTime >= '2011-06-03 00:00:00' AND StartTime  <= '2011-06-03 23:59:59'
AND FinishTime > StartTime

Compute NUM of days from UNION of time ranges (with DateTime::Span)

Tag : perl , By : Dennizzz

I hope this helps you . I have a set of time ranges and need to get the Number of days from this set. I did it with DateTime::Span as follows: , First, you're calling union incorrectly. It only takes one argument.
$set1->union($set2)->union($set3);
my $spanset = $set1->union($set2)->union($set3);
my $dur = $spanset->duration();
my $days = 0;
my $iter = $spanset->iterator();
while ( my $span = $iter->next ) {
   my $date1 = $span->start;
   my $date2 = $span->end;
   $days += $date2->delta_days($date1)->in_units('days');
}

print("$days\n");  # 153

How to create alarm with date, time and repetition for some days(suppose 10 days) which show alert even the phone is res

Tag : android , By : Anand

fixed the issue. Will look into that further You need to use an AlarmManager for that. The only thing to take into account is that you need to restart your alarm if your phone is resetted, but you can listen for an android.intent.action.BOOT_COMPLETED broadcast message and restart it there.
This guide contains everything you need, there's no need to go trough that here:

How to get number of days(intersection) between two date ranges/Count of days intersecting between two date ranges in Ja

I think the issue was by ths following , Is this something you are looking for?
Algorithm we can use to achieve this:
let dateRanges=[
{"startDate":"01/27","EndDate":"02/02"},
{"startDate":"02/03","EndDate":"02/09"},
{"startDate":"02/10","EndDate":"02/16"},
{"startDate":"02/17","EndDate":"02/23"}
]
let inputStartDate = "01/28"

let inputEndDate = "02/22"

dateRanges.forEach(eachDate => {
    var endDateToConsider = moment(eachDate.EndDate+'/2019').isAfter(inputEndDate+"/2019") ? inputEndDate: eachDate.EndDate;
    var startDateToConsider = moment(eachDate.startDate+'/2019').isAfter(inputStartDate+"/2019") ? eachDate.startDate : inputStartDate
    var daysDifference = moment(endDateToConsider+'/2019').diff(moment(startDateToConsider+'/2019'), 'days') + 1
    console.log(daysDifference)

})
