How to get all Modifying Users of a specific Revision

I think the issue was by ths following , You want to retrieve the value of lastModifyingUser from Revisions.Get() using Drive API v3.
If my understanding is correct, how about adding the fields? At the default, the fields are id,mimeType,modifiedTime. So when you want to retrieve only values of lastModifyingUser, please modify as follows.
revision, err := srv.Revisions.Get(fileId, revisionId).Do()
revision, err := srv.Revisions.Get(fileID, revisionID).Fields("lastModifyingUser").Do()

How to get a previous revision of a specific revision of a file in CVS

Tag : version-control , By : Johannes

I hope this helps . There is no direct way to do this from CVS commands. But since I am using the output (of CVS log) IN java, following code snippet worked for me
if (currentRevision == null || currentRevision.trim().length() == 0) {
    return null;

String[] revComponents = currentRevision.trim().split("\\.");

if (revComponents == null || revComponents.length == 0) {
    log.warn("Failed to parse revision number: " + currentRevision
            + " for identification of previous revision");
    return null;

if (revComponents.length % 2 == 1) {
    log.warn("Odd number of components in revision: " + currentRevision);
    log.warn("Possibly a tag revision.");
    return null;

int lastComp;
try {
    lastComp = Integer.parseInt(revComponents[revComponents.length - 1]);
} catch (NumberFormatException nmfe) {
    log.warn("Failed to parse the last component of revision from " + currentRevision);
    log.warn("Identified presence of alphanumric values in the last component. Cannot predict previous revision for this");
    return null;

if (revComponents.length == 2 && lastComp == 1) {
    log.debug("Revision: " + currentRevision + " is the first revision for the current file. Cannot go further back");
    return null;

StringBuilder result = new StringBuilder();
if (lastComp == 1) {
    for (int i = 0; i < revComponents.length - 2; i++) {
        if (result.length() > 0)
} else if (lastComp > 1) {
    for (int i = 0; i < revComponents.length - 1; i++) {
    result.append((lastComp - 1));
} else {
    log.warn("Found invalid value for last revision number component in " + currentRevision);
        return null;

    return result.toString();

SVN : how to compare specific file in head revision with some other older revision?

Tag : svn , By : dummyadresse

this one helps. I have this file js/xyz.js. Currently its a head revision (say r7700). , Yes: svn diff -r7600 js/xyz.js

Given a specific revision, how do I compare or diff a file with my working copy or head revision?

Tag : eclipse , By : Ben

should help you out Yes, EGit filters the list of Compare With > Commit... to the commits that modified that file, otherwise the whole history would be shown there.
Do I understand you correctly that for your specific use case, you already have the commit hash of the revision to compare to in hand?

Google Drive Rest API : How to get all Modifying Users of a specific Revision

With these it helps Unfortunate the Drive API currently doesn't provide that level of detail, as shown in the UI. Please file a feature request so we can track that request.
A partial solution is to use the Apps Activity API. It provides more fine-grained information on which users edited a document, but unfortunately there is no easy way to correlate those activities to revisions.

Mercurial/hg: search for a file (by filename) at a specific revision (without updating to that revision)

may help you . You can use hg manifest -r REV to get a list of all files in that revision. Then you can search for your file in that list.
