Backbone - What is the best way to listen to 2 models?

around this issue I'm working on a project and I was curious as to what is the best way to listen to 2 objects that are used in the same function? , Create a base model and inherit from your other models:
    var DataModel = Backbone.Model.extend({
        // ToDo

    var FileModel = DataModel.extend({
        // ToDo

    var FolderModel = DataModel.extend({
        // ToDo
    var DataCollection = Backbone.Collection.extend({
        model: DataModel

I wish this helpful for you As with most things Backbone.js, you won't get a "right" answer to this, but I can share how I do it. With both models and views, I generally follow these guidelines:

How does one "listen to the router" (respond to Router events in Views/Models) in Backbone.js?

To fix this issue This is beacuse you are binding a listener to the wrong object. Try this in your View :
window.ThingView = Backbone.View.extend({

    initialize: function() {
            myRouter.on('route:showThing', this.anything);

Add handler for childHungry in CrowdView init function
CrowdView = Backbone.View.extend({
  initialize: function () {
    this.listenTo(this.model.get("People"), 'childHungry', function(){
      console.log("Someone's child is hungry");
    });// listening to child hungry
    this.listenTo(this.model.get("People"), 'change:Hungry', this.hungryChange);
PersonModel = Backbone.RelationalModel.extend({
  initialize: function(){
    this.listenTo(this.get("Children"), 'change:Hungry', this.childHungry);
  childHungry: function(){
