fixed the issue. Will look into that further It is trying to connect to the AWS metadata server to get the AWS credentials. All AWS servers should be able to connect to the internal metadata server.

I wish did fix the issue. I have only installed ruby on Ubuntu, however I recommend you take a look at this blog post:

wish helps you Since you didn't provide enough details, all you need is to add/delete lines in mask initialization using appropriate logic.

I wish this helpful for you It seems that the printer is using Telnet protocol, described here. Telnet sits at a higher level of abstraction and uses TCP to transmit it's data. You are trying to send messages over tcp without any telnet connection being established while your printer expects a telnet connection, in order to receive commands.

Hope that helps The newest developer edition toolkit, 10.0.0.12, seems to have fixed this.
