this one helps. Comment to answer so this can be resolved.
Use sapply to apply your function to each item of your list:
result = sapply(points, myfunct)
min_point = points[[which.min(result)]]

will be helpful for those in need Converting from 2d to 3d is unprojecting. there is a built in method within xna for this:
 Vector3 3dWorldPosition = GraphicsDevice.Viewport.Unproject(2DscreenVector & desired Z comp, viewMatrix, projectionMatrix);

Function that takes 1 argument spits back undefined method `grabTweets' for PagesHelper:Module

I hope this helps . I'm trying to write a very simple function that feeds whatever text someone enters into an input field, into a function which searches Twitter and returns some value. , With a Model
Assuming you have an @tweet object:
<%= form_for(@tweet) do |f| %>
  <%= f.text_field :search %>
<% end %>
def find_tweets
  @tweets = Twitter.search( params[:tweet][:search] + "[pic] "+" path.com/p/", :rpp => 2, :result_type => "recent").map do |status|
    tweet = "#{status.text}" #class = string
    urls = URI::extract(@tweet, "http") #returns an array of strings

    {
      :tweet => tweet,
      :urls => urls
    }
  end

  @tweets
end
<%= form_tag '/tweets/find_tweets' do %>
  <%= text_field_tag "search" %>
<% end %>

Python function that takes an input and spits out a month and how many days it has

Tag : python , By : Marc Dong

seems to work fine Use the calendar module; the calendar.monthrange() function returns a (weekday, number_of_days) tuple:
>>> import calendar
>>> print calendar.monthrange(2012, 2)[1]
29
import datetime
year = datetime.date.today().year
import datetime
import calendar

def main():
    year = datetime.date.today().year
    userin = int(raw_input("Enter a month as number: "))  # Python 3: `int(input(...))`
    print '{}, {}'.format(calendar.month_abbr[userin], calendar.monthrange(year, userin)[1])
Enter a month as number: 2
Feb, 28

To fix this issue gluProject from the glu library is usually used to perform this function.

I hope this helps you . You're printing some text on the screen and then are trying to read the first 3 characters of this text from the screen. Right?
It's fine to use BIOS function 08h to this effect but you forget to position the cursor each time!
call newline
mov  si, read_attempt
call print
call newline    ;(*)
mov bh, 0 ;Select display page 0
mov ah, 03h ;BIOS.GetCursor -> CL, CH, DL, DH
int  10h

dec dh ;Go 1 row up, Column is at 0 because of (*)
mov  ah, 02h    ;BIOS.SetCursor
int  10h

mov  ah, 08h    ;BIOS.ReadCharacterAndAttribute -> AL, AH
int  10h
push ax ;Save 1st character on stack
inc dl ;Go 1 column right
mov  ah, 02h    ;BIOS.SetCursor
int  10h

mov  ah, 08h    ;BIOS.ReadCharacterAndAttribute -> AL, AH
int  10h
push ax ;Save 2nd character on stack
inc dl ;Go 1 column right
mov  ah, 02h    ;BIOS.SetCursor

pop  ax         ;Restore 3rd character
call printchar
pop  ax         ;Restore 2nd character

pop  ax         ;Restore 1st character
