Any of those help You need to edit the style file (default.style, possibly in osm2pgsql-bin directory) used by osm2pgsql. You can then add the instruction
#Add custom column
node,way   citiid      int4         linear

convert data.frame to data.table column missing

it helps some times It's the rownames that are missing, not one of the columns.
If you want Brands as a column, the manual approach is:
data.table(Brands = rownames(mtcars), mtcars)
data.table(mtcars, keep.rownames = TRUE)
setDT(DF, keep.rownames = "Brands")

How does one summarise data grouped by a column and date, accounting for dates with missing data

I hope this helps you . I'm creating a report where I'd like to get the number of events grouped by day and tag, filtered by specific tags (like '%sample%') and for a specific period (e.g. past week).
WITH DateTable
AS
(
    SELECT CONVERT(date, DateAdd(WEEK, -1, GETDATE())) AS [DATE]
    UNION ALL
    SELECT DATEADD(dd, 1, [DATE])
    FROM DateTable
    WHERE DATEADD(dd, 1, [DATE]) < CONVERT(date, GETDATE())
)
SELECT Tags.Name, dt.DATE as Date,COUNT(Events.ID) as Count
FROM DateTable dt
CROSS JOIN Tags Tags
LEFT JOIN Events ON dt.[DATE] = CONVERT(date, Events.[CreatedAt])
and Tags.Id = Events.TagId
where tags.Name like '%sample%'
GROUP BY Tags.Name, Date
ORDER BY Tags.Name, Date;

R: A column is missing after xts data transformation of stock data

To fix this issue You can either pass to.period an OHLC object (that optionally has a Volume column), or you can pass it a univariate series (that optionally also has a Volume column).
In ?to.period it says that x should be "a univariate or OHLC type time-series object"
period.apply(myxts, endpoints(myxts, "minutes", 30), function(x) {
  cbind(as.numeric(first(x$Price)),
        as.numeric(max(x$Price)),
        as.numeric(min(x$Price)),
        as.numeric(last(x$Price)),
        sum(x$Volume),
        sum(x$TT))
})
myxts30<-to.period(myxts,'minutes',30)
cpy <- myxts$Price
cpy$Volume <- myxts$TT
myxts30$TT <- Vo(to.period(cpy, "minutes", 30))

Column data missing when i import data from .csv excel to grid view in Asp.net

I wish did fix the issue. In SqlBulkCopy the column mappings are case-sensitive regardless of the case sensitivity setting in target DB.
As MSDN notes,

Import in R with column headers across 3 rows. Replace missing with latest non-missing column

hope this fix your issue I will assume that you have saved the xlsx data in .csv format, so it can be read in like this:
header <- read.csv("data.csv", header=F, colClasses="character", nrow=3)
dat <- read.csv("data.csv", header=F, skip=3)
construct_colnames <- function(header) {
    f <- function(x) {
        x <- as.character(x)
        c("", x[!is.na(x) & x != ""])[cumsum(!is.na(x) & x != "") + 1]
    }
    res <- apply(header, 1, f)
    res <- apply(res, 1, paste0, collapse="_")
    sub("^_*", "", res)
}
colnames(dat) <- construct_colnames(header)
dat
