nvd3.js : no mouseover datapoint effects in a line chart on updating the chart

I hope this helps you . The code you need is actually much simpler than what you have. You only need to create the chart object once and don't need to call nv.addGraph() either. I've updated the jsfiddle here; the relevant code is also below.
var chart = nv.models.lineChart();

  .axisLabel('Time (ms)')

  .axisLabel('Voltage (v)')

var drawGraph=function(start) {
  d3.select('#chart svg')

  n += 50;

How to make xAxis on bar chart match pointWidth

it helps some times Height of each data point container is calculated depending on the height of the main container. See the 320px vs 400px container height in the example below.
var opt = {
  chart: {
    type: 'bar'
  xAxis: {
    categories: ['Jan', 'Feb', 'Mar', 'Apr', 'May', 'Jun', 'Jul', 'Aug', 'Sep', 'Oct', 'Nov', 'Dec']

  plotOptions: {
    series: {
      pointWidth: 10

  series: [{
    data: [29.9, 71.5, 106.4, 129.2, 144.0, 176.0, 135.6, 148.5, 216.4, 194.1, 95.6, 54.4]

Highcharts.chart('container1', opt);
Highcharts.chart('container2', opt);
<script src="https://code.highcharts.com/highcharts.js"></script>

<div id="container1" style="height: 320px"></div>
<div id="container2" style="height: 400px"></div>

I wish this help you A nice overview of Labels in Chart controls is here on MSDN.
Here is an example at work; the first line labels each point in a whole series, the second line only one point in another series:
chart1.Series[3].Label = "Y = #VALY\nX = #VALX";
chart1.Series[1].Points[5].Label =  "Y = #VALY\nX = #VALX";
 chart1.Series[2].ToolTip = "Y = #VALY\nX = #VALX";

How to keep PointWidth fixed and add scrollbar in Range bar Chart

it fixes the issue The CustomProperty PointWidth is in percent of the visible axis.
So with one point the bar or column is really fat and the more data points you add the thinner they will get.
Series s = chart1.Series[0];
s.SetCustomProperty("PixelPointWidth", "12");  // 12 pixels

var ca = chart1.ChartAreas[0];
ca.AxisX.ScrollBar.Enabled = true;
ca.AxisX.ScaleView.Size = 30;         // show a value range of 30

chart1.Refresh(); // usally not needed, but we change a custom property
