Does that help logging.disable() will affect every logger (see https://docs.python.org/3/library/logging.html#logging.disable).
You could try something like this:
import logging
logger1 = logging.getLogger('logger1')
logger2 = logging.getLogger('logger2')
keep_this_logger = logging.getLogger('keep_this_logger')

logger1.warning("WARNING 1")
logger2.warning("WARNING 2")
keep_this_logger.warning("WARNING 3")

for key in logging.Logger.manager.loggerDict: # gets all loggers
    logging.getLogger(key).disabled = True # disable them 1 by 1

logging.getLogger('keep_this_logger').disabled = False # re-enable your logger

logger1.warning("WARNING 1")
logger2.warning("WARNING 2")
keep_this_logger.warning("YAY!!!") # success

Disable scalatest logging statements when running tests from maven

like below fixes the issue Those log messages are not actually being printed by ScalaTest, but by something you are using from your ScalaTest tests. The reason "ScalaTest" shows up in them is that ScalaTest does change the name of threads when suites and tests are executed, so that if someone has a suite that hangs forever and does a thread dump to investigate, it is more obvious what test and suite is causing the run to hang. Log4J seems to print out the thread name in square brackets, so that can give you a hint as to where these log messages are coming from.

it fixes the issue If your tests are not forking a new JVM, it will be suffice to pass the logger.resource parameter when running the tests, like documented here:
sbt -Dlogger.resource=logback-test.xml test
sbt -J-Dlogger.resource=logback-test.xml test
javaOptions in test += "-Dlogger.resource=logback-test.xml"
