MySQL query fetch array not working

I wish this helpful for you msql_fetch_* extracts one row at a time. You have to loop and apply it every time. To use column names you have to use mysql_fetch_assoc (with mysql_fetch_array you'd have to use index numbers).
So...
$menu = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM tbl_customers");

while ($row = mysql_fetch_assoc($menu))
    echo $row["finskaya_razdel"];
$menu = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM tbl_customers");

$results = array();
while ($row = mysql_fetch_assoc($menu))
    $results[] = $row;

Mysql fetch array query?

Tag : php , By : Lex Viatkine

it helps some times I am using php query to retrieve information from a mysql database with mysql_fetch_array and use the returned results to query another database? Im pretty novice. Is this possible?
$search = "SELECT a,b FROM DB WHERE x LIKE '$var' LIMIT 0 , 30";
$result = mysql_query($search, $connection);
if($result){
    while ($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)){
        echo $row["a"]." ".$row["b"]." ";
        $search2 = "SELECT a,b FROM DB WHERE x = '".$row['a']."' LIMIT 0 , 100";
        $result2 = mysql_query($search2, $connection);
        if($result2){
            while ($row2 = mysql_fetch_array($result2)) {
                echo $row2["a"]." ".$row2["b"]." ";
            }
        } else {
            echo "Subject search failed.";
            echo mysql_error();
        }
    }
} else {
    echo "Subject search failed. ";
    echo mysql_error();
}

php mysql query fetch array even when no keyword is given

With these it helps Why don't you just change the query when you have data to check in col4?
if ($needToCheckColumn4) {
$query = "SELECT * FROM table WHERE Column1 LIKE'%$keyword%' AND Column4 = '$col4'";
} else {
$query = "SELECT * FROM table WHERE Column1 LIKE'%$keyword%'";
}

PHP/MySQL - Trying to Pass Query Variables From MySQL Fetch Array Through Page URL

Tag : php , By : OllieDoodle

I hope this helps . I'm running a script that fetches a row from a MySQL table and is supposed to then pass certain variables from that row to the next page to be used in a form that allows user updating. , Try this, you've got your speech marks and dots mixed up :)
if ($row['home_score'] == '0' && $row['away_score'] == '0') {
    echo '<td><a href="report_score.html?league=test_league&game_id=' .$row['game_id']. '"><img src="images/report_icon.png" alt="Report Score" /></a></td>';
}

MySQL Array fetch not working

Does that help A single = is an assignment operator in php. So php thinks you are saying "Declare $rows['tab_id'] as 1, does 1 loosely evaluate as true?" ...the answer is "yes", so the condition always returns true. (This is the same logic occurring in the while loop on the previous line.)
To make a loose comparison (that is all that is needed) you merely need to add one more = to make ==.
while($rows = mysqli_fetch_array($result)){
    <li<?php if($rows['tab_id'] == 1) echo ' class="active"'; ?>><a href="#tab<? echo $rows['tab_id']; ?>"
     role="tab" data-toggle="tab" ><? echo $rows['tab_title']; ?></a>
    </li>
<?php } ?>
while($rows = mysqli_fetch_array($result)){
    echo "<li",($rows['tab_id'] == 1 ? ' class="active"' : ''),">";
        echo "<a href=\"#tab{$rows['tab_id']}\" role=\"tab\" data-toggle=\"tab\" >{$rows['tab_title']}</a>";
    echo "</li>";
}

I want to to fetch 100000 records by SQL query using MySql Xampp and save in an array but it doesn't fetch even 16000 an

I hope this helps you . Not sure what is your exact requirement of this code.But your query efficiency seems very low. Your running too many queries that fetch only one row per query.
    select id from shipment Limit 1 OFFSET 0
    select id from shipment Limit 1 OFFSET 1
    select id from shipment Limit 1 OFFSET 2
    select id from shipment Limit 1 OFFSET 3
    select id from shipment Limit 1 OFFSET 4
    select id from shipment Limit 1 OFFSET 5
    ...
//$link=  mysqli_connect("localhost","root","","example");
//if (mysqli_connect_error()) {
//    echo "error";
//}
$rows=array();
$count=0;
for( $J=0; $J<=3; $J++) {
    $count = $count + 10;
    for($i=1;$i<=$count;$i++) {
         $offset_var=$i-1;
         $query="select id from shipment Limit 1 OFFSET " . $offset_var;
         //$result=  mysqli_query($link, $query);
         //while ($row = mysqli_fetch_assoc($result)) {
         //    $rows[]= $row;
         //}
         echo $query."\n";
    }
}
//mysqli_close($connection);
//echo "<pre>";print_r($rows);echo "</pre>";
$link=  mysqli_connect("localhost","root","","example");
if (mysqli_connect_error()) {
    echo "error";
}
$rows=array();
$page_size=4000;
$total_records=100000;

$count=ceil($total_records/$page_size);
for($i=0; $i<=$count; $i++) {
   $offset_var = $i * $page_size;
   $query = "select id from shipment Limit ".$page_size." OFFSET ".$offset_var;
   $result=  mysqli_query($link, $query);
     while ($row = mysqli_fetch_assoc($result)) {
       $rows[]= $row;
     }
}
mysqli_close($connection);
echo "<pre>";print_r($rows);echo "</pre>";
