Is there a way to suppress the Low Battery warning on Android devices or dismiss the alert pop-up?

I wish this help you We are developing an Android application that will be running on devices fitted with large batteries, so as to provide a longer running time between charges. , Let's dig into android source code:
/* The ACTION_BATTERY_LOW broadcast is sent in these situations:
* - is just un-plugged (previously was plugged) and battery level is
* less than or equal to WARNING, or
* - is not plugged and battery level falls to WARNING boundary
* (becomes <= mLowBatteryWarningLevel).
*/
final boolean sendBatteryLow = !plugged
&& mBatteryStatus != BatteryManager.BATTERY_STATUS_UNKNOWN
&& mBatteryLevel <= mLowBatteryWarningLevel
&& (oldPlugged || mLastBatteryLevel > mLowBatteryWarningLevel);

...
if (sendBatteryLow) {
mSentLowBatteryBroadcast = true;
statusIntent.setAction(Intent.ACTION_BATTERY_LOW);
mContext.sendBroadcast(statusIntent);
}

I wish this help you You could do what you want when you set the buttons for your AlertDialog like:

.setPositiveButton("Yes", new DialogInterface.OnClickListener() {
public void onClick(DialogInterface dialog, int id) {
//Here check to see if you have an empty EditText and take appropriate measures
}
})

this one helps. There is no way to change the icons or hide them sadly. What you can do it create your own alert box;
window.alert=function( alertMessage )
{
var alertBox = "";
alertBox +="
";
alertBox +="
";
alertBox +=""+alertMessage+"";
alertBox +="";
alertBox+="
";
document.getElementById("alertPanel").innerHTML = alertBox;
document.getElementById("alertPanel").focus();
}

hop of those help? At last I succeeded to find out the problem of my code and got the solution. When i try to reopen the camera in my onResume() method I missed a part. When I create/open a new camera in onResume(), the FrameLayout still has my previous camera. So All I do is remove my previous camera from FrameLayout on onPause() method and then recreate everything on onResume() method. That solve my problem and now it is working nicely without any error. Here is my onPause() and onResume() method with the fix. Hope this might help somebody in future.
public void onPause() {
super.onPause();
releaseCamera();
FrameLayout preview = (FrameLayout)findViewById(R.id.cameraPreview);
preview.removeView(mPreview);
}

public void onResume(){
super.onResume();

try {
if(mCamera==null){

//setRequestedOrientation(ActivityInfo.SCREEN_ORIENTATION_PORTRAIT);
autoFocusHandler = new Handler();
mCamera = getCameraInstance();
this.getWindowManager().getDefaultDisplay().getRotation();

scanner = new ImageScanner();
scanner.setConfig(0, Config.X_DENSITY, 3);
scanner.setConfig(0, Config.Y_DENSITY, 3);

mPreview = new CameraPreview(this, mCamera, previewCb, autoFocusCB);
FrameLayout preview = (FrameLayout)findViewById(R.id.cameraPreview);
preview.addView(mPreview);
}
} catch (Exception e) {
// TODO Auto-generated catch block

}
}

/** A safe way to get an instance of the Camera object. */
public static Camera getCameraInstance(){
Camera c = null;
try {
c = Camera.open();
} catch (Exception e){
}
return c;
}

private void releaseCamera() {
//Toast.makeText(QRScannerActivity.this, "Paused State", Toast.LENGTH_SHORT).show();
if (mCamera != null) {
previewing = false;
mCamera.setPreviewCallback(null);
mPreview.getHolder().removeCallback(mPreview);
mCamera.release();
mCamera = null;
mPreview= null;
}

}

I hope this helps . To achive that you have to group the subitems and embed in a one menu item. Here is an example you can refer.
<menu xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" >

<menu>

<item
android:id="@+id/subitem2
android:icon="@drawable/image2"
android:title="subitem 2">

</menu>

<menu>

</menu>
