may help you . The append function works fine but you are filling the array in the background and never reloading the tableView when you have the data in the array
for user in users
{
    if let nameUser = user["username"] as? String {
        self.userName.append(nameUser)
    }
}
self.tableView.reloadData()

hop of those help? You removed the element so it's not there anymore and you can't append anything to it.

Remove numbers in front of file[working] + append number to duplicate filenames[not-working]

With these it helps Basically, you want to do the renaming inside a try block, so that if it errors, you can add the 1, 2, 3... to the name and then attempt again. Here's a version that will work:
on run {input, parameters}
    repeat with thisFile in input
        tell application "Finder" to set {theName, theExtension} to {name, name extension} of (thisFile as alias)
        set theName to text 1 thru ((offset of ("." & theExtension) in theName) - 1) of theName
        set theName to (do shell script "echo " & quoted form of theName & " | sed 's/^[0-9_-]*//'")
        set n to ""
        repeat 30 times -- will work for up to 30 versions of the same file name
            try
                tell application "Finder" to set name of thisFile to (theName & n & "." & theExtension)
                exit repeat
            on error errMsg
                if errMsg contains "already an item with that name" then
                    if n is "" then
                    set n to 2
                    else
                    set n to (n as integer) + 1
                    end if
                else
                    display dialog errMsg
                    exit repeat
                end if
            end try
        end repeat
    end repeat
    return input
end run

Why is the StringBuilder chaining pattern sb.append(x).append(y) faster than regular sb.append(x); sb.append(y)?

wish of those help String concatenation a + b + c is a very frequent pattern in Java programs, so HotSpot JVM has a special optimization for it: -XX:+OptimizeStringConcat which is ON by default.
HotSpot JVM recognizes new StringBuilder().append()...append().toString() pattern in the bytecode and translates it to the optimized machine code without calling actual Java methods and without allocating intermediate objects. I.e. this is a kind of compound JVM intrinsic.

append a div with class "modal-trigger" using jquery.append() not working

Tag : javascript , By : mckasty

help you fix your problem You need to rebind modal-trigger after adding it to DOM. It works the first time cause the bind is done based on class name on document.ready. You need to add an event listener for click on modal-trigger and add the logic that opens your modal.
That means, after adding the content through JavaScript. You have to write something like. $('.modal-trigger').on('click', function() { open modal; })
