Hope that helps How would I implement a text box in my program where users can type into. I then would like for my code's response(I know how to do the responding part) to be also present in the program. This code was recommended to me but it does not exactly help all too much. , Javascript
var textbox = document.createElement('input');
<input type="text"/>
if (key.code === 8){
   alert('backspace was pressed');

if (input == "text"){
   alert('the input equals text');

Javascript - User input through HTML input tag to set a Javascript variable?

With these it helps When your script is running, it blocks the page from doing anything. You can work around this with one of two ways:
Use var foo = prompt("Give me input");, which will give you the string that the user enters into a popup box (or null if they cancel it) Split your code into two function - run one function to set up the user interface, then provide the second function as a callback that gets run when the user clicks the button.

Using Javascript to make input box editable for exactly 3 seconds after user input

I think the issue was by ths following , I need a function to execute when the user types something into the input box. The function should make the input box uneditable for 3 seconds, before making the input box editable again. I have the function below, but it's not working at all. I'm wondering what I did wrong, and how to fix it? , This will work:
function makeUnedit (id) {

   document.getElementById(id).readOnly = true;

       document.getElementById(id).readOnly = false;
   }, 3000);

I think the issue was by ths following , EDIT The code is to show the position of the second input variable in the original sentence/list and it always returns 13 if you input to on the second input , You can use in:
sent = input("Sentence:").split()
lkupwrd = str(input("What word do you want to look up?")).lower()

wordList = [word.lower() for word in sent]

if lkupwrd in wordList:
    print([i for i,j in enumerate(wordList) if j == lkupwrd])
myList = ["a","b","c","d","e"]

myListEnumerated = enumerate(myList)

[(0, 'a'), (1, 'b'), (2, 'c'), (3, 'd'), (4, 'e')]

test.html:23 Uncaught ReferenceError: fName is not defined
//Variables for arrays
var fName = [];
var lName = [];
var tScore = [];

//Function to add user info to arrays
function insert() {
    var fNameInput = document.getElementById("firstName");
    var lNameInput = document.getElementById("lastName");
    var tScoreInput = document.getElementById("testScore");

//Function to display info entered from array
function clearAndShow() {
    var display = document.getElementById("display");
    var fNameInput = document.getElementById("firstName");
    var lNameInput = document.getElementById("lastName");
    var tScoreInput = document.getElementById("testScore");
    fNameInput.value = "";
    lNameInput.value = "";
    tScoreInput.value = "";

    display.innerHTML = "";
    display.innerHTML += "First Name: " + fName.join(", ") + "<br/>";
    display.innerHTML += "LastName: " + lName.join(", ") + "<br/>";
    display.innerHTML += "Test Score: " + tScore.join(", ") + "<br/>";

this will help Using change/keyup/keydown event (which can be replaced to another event if needed) you can do something like this:
<input type="number" class="form-control" onchange="run(this)" id="id1">
<input type="number" class="form-control" onchange="run(this)" id="id2">

<input type="number" class="form-control" onchange="run(this)" id="id9">
<input type="number" class="form-control" onchange="run(this)" id="id10">
function run(ele){
  var id = ele.id;
  var value = ele.value;
  console.log(id, value);
