Does that help In Form Design view, open the property sheet of the form, tab "Data".
There you can edit the RecordSource property: click the ... button and remove the unwanted table. Its fields will be deleted automatically from the recordsource.

Admin form with "extra" fields

I hope this helps . If you define additional fields in generator.yml, you can override one of the admin generator actions to handle the fields however you want.
Look at the generated actions.class.php in cache/YOURAPP/YOURENV/modules/autoYOURMODULE/actions/actions.class.php . You can override any of those functions with your own in apps/YOURAPP/modules/YOURMODULE/actions/actions.class.php, because it inherits from that cached file. When you make changes to generator.conf, the cached file is updated but your code will still override it. You probably want to override processForm().
protected function processForm(sfWebRequest $request, sfForm $form)
  $form->bind($request->getParameter($form->getName()), $request->getFiles($form->getName()));

  if ($form->isValid())
$notice = $form->getObject()->isNew() ? 'The item was created successfully.' : 'The item was updated successfully.';

// NEW: deal with tags
if ($form->getValue('remove_tags')) {
  foreach (preg_split('/\s*,\s*/', $form->getValue('remove_tags')) as $tag) {
if ($form->getValue('new_tags')) {
  foreach (preg_split('/\s*,\s*/', $form->getValue('new_tags')) as $tag) {
    // sorry, it would be better to not hard-code this string
    if ($tag == 'Add tags with commas') continue;

try {
  $complaint = $form->save();
  // and the remainder is just pasted from the generated actions file

Symfony2: get rid of "This form should not contain extra fields"

it helps some times You can most certainly have multiple submit buttons. Make sure the button is not in the same array as the other form fields.
So, for example, if your form fields have a name FormType[field_name], you can't have FormType[submit_btn] as the name of the button and you must choose a different one.
if($this->getRequest()->request->has('submit_1')) {
    // do stuff
} else {
    // do other stuff

Symfony2 "This form should not contain extra fields" error with collections & dynamic field

around this issue After taking a day and a half off and getting away, the answer popped when I sat down and is quite obvious. The controller as written only adds the subdata classes to the form when it is first created (ie when no submit/POST event has occurred). Hence the form created AFTER the submit event has all of the post data, but the classes are not associated with it. The controller has now been rewritten as below and the form now validates as expected:
public function TestFormAction(Request $request, $whichSize)
    $user_id = $this->getUser()->getId();
    $success = 'Not submitted';

    $dataclass = new Entity\ThisDataClass();
    $subdata1 = new Entity\SubData1();
    $subdata2 = new Entity\SubData2();
    $subdata3 = new Entity\SubData3();

    $form = $this->createForm(new Form\ThisDataClassType($user_id), $dataclass, array(
        'action' => $this->generateUrl('my_custom_test_route', array('whichSize' => $whichSize)),
        'user_id' => $user_id

    if ($form->isValid()) {
        $success = 'Success!!';
    } else {
        $success = 'Invalid!!';

} // RESULT::Success!!

Symfony 2 Form error "This form should not contain extra fields." when submitting a form

I hope this helps you . The error is thrown because you are defining each size as a form_row, e.g. :
{% for size in form.sizes %}
    {{ form_row(size) }}  // Extra field defined here
 {% endfor %}
public function configureOptions(OptionsResolver $resolver)
        'allow_extra_fields' => true,

This might help you , The easiest way is to set negativ margin
        <GridView >
                <Style TargetType="{x:Type GridViewColumnHeader}">
                    <Setter Property="IsEnabled" Value="False" />
            <GridViewColumn Width="300" Header="Source Schema">
                        <TextBox Width="300" Margin="-6,0" />
            <GridViewColumn Width="300" Header="Source Table">
                        <TextBox Width="300" Margin="-6,0" />
