Can I see what are you doing on you controller? Also why dont you pass data from controller like a variable and do a foreach between the select command?
//codeigniter syntax

    <select class="form-control3" name="Select_Name" id="Select_Name">
        <?php foreach($var as $key):?>
            <option value="<?=$key?>"><?=$key?></option>//sth like this
        <? endforeach ?>

Inserting dynamic table values from PHP array to MySQL table

I wish this helpful for you Assuming that you have first three values already (branch, date, account_no) and $clientname is also assigned, you can use foreach(), so the script should be like this:
    $branch = 'br001';
    $date   = '2016-03-31';
    $accNo  = '0010GL001';
    $clientname = 'client_name';
    $data = array('client' => $clientname,
        'amount' => 12000,
        'balance' => 6000,
        'term' => 6,
        'maturitydate' => '2016-05-31'
    foreach ($data as $field => $value) {
        $query = "INSERT INTO db_table
                (`branch`, `date`, `account_no`, `field`, `value`)
                ('" . $branch . "', '" . $date . "', '" . $accNo . "', '" . $field . "', '" . $value . "')";
        echo $query . '<br>';
        mysqli_query($link, $query) or die(mysqli_error($link));
INSERT INTO db_table (`branch`, `date`, `account_no`, `field`, `value`) VALUES ('br001', '2016-03-31', '0010GL001', 'client', 'client_name')
INSERT INTO db_table (`branch`, `date`, `account_no`, `field`, `value`) VALUES ('br001', '2016-03-31', '0010GL001', 'amount', '12000')
INSERT INTO db_table (`branch`, `date`, `account_no`, `field`, `value`) VALUES ('br001', '2016-03-31', '0010GL001', 'balance', '6000')
INSERT INTO db_table (`branch`, `date`, `account_no`, `field`, `value`) VALUES ('br001', '2016-03-31', '0010GL001', 'term', '6')
INSERT INTO db_table (`branch`, `date`, `account_no`, `field`, `value`) VALUES ('br001', '2016-03-31', '0010GL001', 'maturitydate', '2016-05-31')

Update table from another table using dynamic column references in MySql 5.7

Tag : mysql , By : user96271

this will help I came up with a solution that dynamically creates the portion of the SQL statement comparing columns (i.e. "currentTable.cost = newTable.cost") then runs an UPDATE JOIN with the dynamic list of columns.
 CREATE PROCEDURE matchCurrentToNew()
 COMMENT 'Update currentTable to match newTable'

    DECLARE num_rows INT;
    DECLARE col_name TINYTEXT;
    DECLARE concatStatement TINYTEXT;
    DECLARE concatFields TINYTEXT;

    DECLARE col_names
        SELECT column_name
        WHERE table_name = 'TASKS'
        ORDER BY ordinal_position;

    SET concatStatement = "";
    OPEN col_names;

    SELECT FOUND_ROWS() into num_rows;

    the_loop: LOOP

        FETCH NEXT FROM col_names
        INTO col_name;

        IF done THEN
          CLOSE col_names;
          LEAVE the_loop;
        END IF;

        IF col_name <> "UniqueId" AND col_name <> "ProjectId" THEN
            SET concatFields = CONCAT_WS("=",

            SET concatStatement = CONCAT(concatStatement,",",concatFields);
        END IF;

    END LOOP the_loop;

    # Remove comma at the beginning of the concatStatement string

    SET concatStatement = TRIM(LEADING "," FROM concatStatement);

    SET @sqlText = CONCAT(
      'UPDATE currentTable
      JOIN newTable
      ON currentTable .UniqueId = newTable.UniqueId
      AND currentTable .ProjectId = newTable.ProjectId
      SET ', concatStatement

    PREPARE stmt FROM @sqlText;
    EXECUTE stmt;

 END //
