fixed the issue. Will look into that further I have started using the community licence of dot42 to make a small free app for android. I see the string "by dot42" in the app name, is this by design and will remain forever? or is it waiting for me to make modify some setting to remove it? , Looking at the changelog of dot42 I read the following:
wish helps you I recently wrote an article about this very subject after I got a crash course in software licensing from a copyright attorney as part of preparations for a current venture. You can visit it for more details, but I'll outline the basics here -
seems to work fine Ads inside your app is considered commercial so you would need the Pro license. You may start without ads with the community license. See how your audience grows and then move to the Pro license when you feel it pays off.
wish of those help Is it possible to use a native C/C++ library with dot42? If so are there examples of how to do this? If not is this a planned feature? , Given the JNI implementation a native method such as the following:
[Activity(Label ="DllImport MainActivity")]
public class MainActivity : Activity
protected override void OnCreate(Bundle savedInstance)
var textView = FindViewById<TextView>(R.Ids.label);
textView.Text = Foo();
public static extern string Foo();
wish helps you You won't currently be able to easily use nuget with dot42 - nuget hasn't yet added any extension for them. Also, you won't be able to use MonoDroid-targetted assemblies for dot42 - those assemblies are built against Xamarin's runtime - not dot42.
