Does that help I am trying to do the following: , try
var id=9;
            client.get(`http://localhost:5000/api/produto/${id}`, function (data, response) {
                console.log(data);
                console.log("------------");
                console.log(response);
            });
Template literals are enclosed by the back-tick (` `) (grave accent) character instead of double or single quotes. Template literals can contain placeholders. These are indicated by the dollar sign and curly braces (${expression}). The expressions in the placeholders and the text between them get passed to a function. The default function just concatenates the parts into a single string. If there is an expression preceding the template literal (tag here), this is called a "tagged template". In that case, the tag expression (usually a function) gets called with the processed template literal, which you can then manipulate before outputting. To escape a back-tick in a template literal, put a backslash \ before the back-tick.

hope this fix your issue The data you are getting is a Buffer. Try converting it to string like bellow.
if(Buffer.isBuffer(data)){
    data = data.toString('utf8');
}
console.log(data);

var request = require('request');

router.get('/search/:id', function(req, res) {
  request('http://localhost:3000/api/search/5600678e1c76b4680e0d6544', function(error, response, body) {
    if (!error && response.statusCode == 200) {
      console.log(body)
      var data = body;
      res.render('test', {
        test: data,
        user: req.user,
        title: 'Home'
      });
    } else {
      res.end('Error: ' + error);
    }
  });
});

Basic authentication not working in node-rest-client node

I wish this helpful for you The problem is your setting of the header Content-Type: application/json and the probable calling in the server of request.get_json() directly, or indirectly via the (deprecated) request.json property.
When get_json() is called Flask will check to see that a JSON payload has been sent in the body of the request and then parse it if present. That's OK if the request actually contains JSON in the body, but, being a GET request, yours doesn't. In this case, its JSON expectation being unfulfilled, the server raises a BadRequest error and returns a HTTP 400 error response.

Migrating from Elastic Node Client to Transport or Rest Client

this one helps. Without any look on your code, based on my experience:
1) should work with minor or no changes at all. But you'll have to go with the rest client as the transport client will be removed soon. Or you'll have work again here in the future.
