I wish this helpful for you Each DMSDK batch executes in a single transaction. Different DMSDK batches execute in different transactions.

Testing XQuery and Marklogic transactions

Tag : testing , By : nonkelhans

To fix this issue With MarkLogic an entire XQuery update normally acts like a single transaction. When mut:release adds an update to the transaction's stack, the rest of the query will not see that update until after it commits. From the point of view of the query, this normally happens after the entire query finishes, and is not visible to the query.
The docs have something useful to add about what http://docs.marklogic.com/xdmp:rollback does:

MarkLogic v1/transactions create by REST API

To fix this issue The problem is a curl "convenience" and not your request.
When you don't specify the Content-Type for a POST, curl "helpfully" defaults the Content-Type to application/x-www-form-urlencoded

Create a CSV file from marklogic using Java Client Api(DMSDK)

should help you out Probably the easiest option is ml-gradle Exporting data to CSV which uses Java Client API and DMSDK under the hood.
Note that you'll probably want to install a server-side REST transform to extract only the data you want in the CSV output, rather than download the entire doc contents then extract on the Java side.
try (FileWriter writer = new FileWriter(outputFile)) {
  writer.write("uri,collection,contents");
  writer.flush();
  ExportToWriterListener exportListener = new ExportToWriterListener(writer)
    .withRecordSuffix("\n")
    .withMetadataCategory(DocumentManager.Metadata.COLLECTIONS)
    .onGenerateOutput(
      record -> {
        String uri = record.getUri();
        String collection = record.getMetadata(new DocumentMetadataHandle()).getCollections().iterator().next();
        String contents = record.getContentAs(String.class);
        return uri + "," + collection + "," + contents;
      }
    );

  QueryBatcher queryJob =
    moveMgr.newQueryBatcher(query)
      .withThreadCount(5)
      .withBatchSize(10)
      .onUrisReady(exportListener)
      .onQueryFailure( throwable -> throwable.printStackTrace() );
  moveMgr.startJob( queryJob );
  queryJob.awaitCompletion();
  moveMgr.stopJob( queryJob );
}

Marklogic DMSDK Transform Module?

This might help you You can use ExportToWriterListener! ExportToWriterListener exports all the contents retrieved by QueryBatcher and writes to a File.
DatabaseClient client = DatabaseClientFactory.newClient("localhost", 8012,
    new DatabaseClientFactory.DigestAuthContext("admin", "admin"));
DataMovementManager moveMgr = client.newDataMovementManager();
ServerTransform transform = new ServerTransform("transformName");
File outputFile = new File("output.txt"); // pass in your file here
String collection = "customers";
StructuredQueryDefinition query = new StructuredQueryBuilder().collection(collection); // Substitute your query here
try (FileWriter writer = new FileWriter(outputFile)) {
  ExportToWriterListener exportListener = new ExportToWriterListener(writer)
    .withRecordSuffix("\n")
    .withTransform(transform) // pass in your Server Transform here
    .onGenerateOutput(
      record -> {
        String contents = record.getContentAs(String.class);
        return contents; // return the content as it is which is the server transformed documents' content
      }
    );

  QueryBatcher queryJob =
    moveMgr.newQueryBatcher(query)
      .withThreadCount(5)
      .withBatchSize(10)
      .onUrisReady(exportListener)
      .onQueryFailure( throwable -> throwable.printStackTrace() );
  moveMgr.startJob( queryJob );
  queryJob.awaitCompletion();
  moveMgr.stopJob(queryJob);
}

Use "Selector modules" with DataMovement SDK MarkLogic [Java] [MarkLogic] [dmsdk] [data-movement-sdk][ml-java-

I wish this helpful for you If the job is small enough, you can just implement the document rewriting within your enode code either by making a call to a resource service extension:
