^(\d+|\d{1,3}(\.\d{1,3})*)$

How do i make that it will show me the file size with only two digits after the dot(point)?

Hope that helps Just use any of the standard .NET formatting literals. To get a numeric value with two digits after the decimal point, you could use {0:n2}:
 return String.Format("{0:n2} {1}", unit.Item1, unit.Item2);

How to limit the number of digits before/after/ a decimal point and also overall with regex?

this will help You can use \A(?=.*\d)(?!(?:\D*\d){20,})[+-]?\d{0,17}(?:\.\d{1,4})?\z. Remember to use double backslashes when using it in java code.
\A - matches start of string (?=.*\d) check that there is at least one digit (because of basically everythin being optional) (?!(?:\D*\d){20,}) check that there are no more than 19 digits [+-]? match optional + or - \d{0,17} match up to 17 digits integer part (?:\.\d{1,4})? match up to 4 digits in the decimal part, you can use {0,4} if 12. is valid \z match end of the string

Regex with maximum 2 digits after the decimal point

I hope this helps you . Your regex is saying "some digits, followed by 0-2 occurrences of a dot followed by a digit". Spot the mistake? 3.1.4 would match, but 3.14 wouldn't. Contrary to what you state in the question, 3 digits after the point wouldn't match either.
Instead, you would need something like this, assuming that the fractional part should be optional:
\d+(\.\d{0,2})?
"^\\d+(\\.\\d{0,2})$"
