Placing JFrames inside JFrames

To fix the issue you can do Yeah, you could always get the contentPane from a JFrame and put it into the contentPane of a JInternalFrame (via the expected get and set methods), but it's many times not a good idea to try to add good code into a bad design. You may be better off refactoring your code and try to code towards the JPanel and not the JFrame. That way you'll have the flexibilty of placing your JPanels wherever you wish, be they JInternalFrames, JDialogs, JTabbedPane components, or swapped via CardLayout.

it helps some times How will the user select the window to close? Using the code below, you can close a window by pressing a button or close the window directly (in which case the frame will not be removed from the list):
private void createManyFrames() {
    final JFrame mainFrame = new JFrame("Stack Overflow: closing frames");
    mainFrame.setBounds(100, 100, 240, 600);
    mainFrame.getContentPane().setLayout(new FlowLayout());
    final List<JFrame> frames = initializeFrames(Arrays.asList("one", "two", "three"));
    for (final JFrame frame : frames) {
        final JButton button = new JButton(frame.getTitle());
        button.addActionListener(new ActionListener() {
            public void actionPerformed(final ActionEvent e) {

private List<JFrame> initializeFrames(final List<String> frameNames) {
    final List<JFrame> frames = new ArrayList<JFrame>();
    for (final String frameName : frameNames) {
        final JFrame frame = new JFrame(frameName);
        frame.setBounds(480, 120 * (1 + frames.size()), 200, 100);
        final JPanel panel = new JPanel();
        panel.add(new JLabel("Label in panel in frame " + frameName + "."));
    return frames;

How to make a Runnable Jar file of my Project which contain Multiple JFrames which are interconnected with each other?

Hope this helps I am assuming this is all contained in one project.
If it is go to File and click on Export. Click on the Java folder and select Runnable JAR File. Choose an export destination and then click on Launch configuration. If you did not set a custom launch configuration, it should be - Library Management System. Hit Finish and hit OK on any of the errors (unless you don't want to continue with exporting).
