Hibernate creates column without name when using "default CURRENT_TIMESTAMP on update CURRENT_TIMESTAMP"

I wish this help you It's not a column without name, it's a column without type.
Hibernate expects that columnDefinition contains column type as well:
@Temporal(TemporalType.TIMESTAMP)
@Column(name="timestamp", nullable = false,
    columnDefinition="TIMESTAMP default CURRENT_TIMESTAMP on update CURRENT_TIMESTAMP")
private Date timestamp = new Date();

Symfony2 / Doctrine "app/console doctrine:schema:update --force" brings a ContextErrorException

I wish did fix the issue. I had this issue before, for me it was about different environments. You probably run your app in dev environment, and the doctrine command target the prod one.
First, try to run those commands to see if it's the cause :
app/console doctrine:schema:update --force --env dev
app/console doctrine:schema:update --force --env prod
