I think the issue was by ths following , I'm trying to use as it stands for. This works fine until I annotate a JSF bean with @org.springframework.stereotype.Controller. , This worked, when I changed the managed bean like so,
public final class testManagedBean extends LazyDataModel<Bean> implements Serializable
private String txtName; //Getter and setter.
I hope this helps you . I found the solution. I changed the "customjdbcUserService" with the "userDetailsService" in the jsfspring-sec-bean-config.xml and jsfspring-sec-security-config.xml and now the userDetailsService gets the correct values from the database, so it is not null anymore.
Spring 4 + Hibernate 4 + JSF 2.2 + PrimeFaces 4 - NullPointerException when accessing objects attributes
will help you I am developing simple Hibernate project with Spring IoC and faced stupid NPE during injection. Both xml and Java style Spring configurations turned out to be inefficient and I stuck. Any help will be appreciated. , You can't do it ContactDAOImpl dao = new ContactDAOImpl();
