Invoke method with varargs in EL throws java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: wrong number of arguments

it helps some times No, it is not possible to use variable arguments in EL method expressions, let alone EL functions.
Your best bet is to create multiple different named methods with a different amount of fixed arguments.
public static boolean isValueIn2(Integer value, Integer option1, Integer option2) {}
public static boolean isValueIn3(Integer value, Integer option1, Integer option2, Integer option3) {}
public static boolean isValueIn4(Integer value, Integer option1, Integer option2, Integer option3, Integer option4) {}
// ...
#{webUtilMB.isValueIn(OtherBean.category.id, '2,3,5')}
#{webUtilMB.isValueIn(OtherBean.category.id, fn:split('2,3,5', ','))}
#{[2,3,5].contains(OtherBean.category.id)}

transform function that receives a fixed number of arguments to a varargs scala

Hope this helps There is a way, maybe is helpful for you, you can try to use the scala macro. and paradise
1.Need to add paradise in your compiler, like:
addCompilerPlugin("org.scalameta" % "paradise" % "3.0.0-M5" cross CrossVersion.full)
"org.scalameta" %% "scalameta" % "1.3.0"
import scala.meta._

class AutoVarargs extends StaticAnnotation {
  inline def apply(defn: Any): Any = meta {
    defn match {
      case q"def add(...$paramss): Int = $expr" =>
        q"""
          def add(i: Int*): Int = {
            i.sum
          }
        """
    }
  }
}
object MetaMacro extends App{
  @AutoVarargs
  def add(x: Int, y: Int): Int = x + y
  println(add(2, 3))
  println(add(2, 3, 4, 5))
}
  @AutoVarargs
  def add(x: Int, y: Int): Int = x + y
  def add(x: Int*): Int = x.sum

I hope this helps . I have a method in a class as below , Wrap your String array in an Object array:
Sample object = new Sample();
Method m = object.getClass().getMethod("doSomething", String[].class);
String[] arr = {"v1", "v2"};
m.invoke(object, new Object[] {arr});

How to take any number of arguments from the user and pass them to a method which uses varargs( variable argument )?

may help you . I want to take any number of input from the user, and then do their summation as a final product. Infact I am using Varargs in method called sum to take any number of input from the user, but my problem is to how to take that input from the user and pass them as the argument for the method sum. , You can use:
BufferedReader br = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(System.in));
String[] nums = br.readLine().split(" "); //delimitation by space or comma
int[] numbers = new int[nums.length];
for(int i = 0;i < nums.length;i++){
   numbers[i] = Integer.parseInt(nums[i]);
}
BasicFunc obj = new BasicFunc();
int result = obj.sum(numbers);

How to work with varargs (number of arguments) and reflection in Kotlin

I think the issue was by ths following , I've got this method (in java):
import java.lang.reflect.Array
val varArg = Array.newInstance(myCustomObjectClass, 1)
val varArgClass = varArg::class.java
val myCustomObjectConstructor = myCustomObjectClass.getConstructor(String::class.java, Long::class.java)
val myCustomObjectElement = myCustomObjectConstructor.newInstance("", 0L)
Array.set(varArg, myCustomObjectElement, 0)
val insertMethod = classContainingInsertMethod.getDeclaredMethod("insert", varArgClass)
insertMethod.invoke(instanceOfClassContainingInsertMethod, varArg)
