error C2228: left of '.size' must have class/struct/union

Any of those help Believe it or not, this line does not declare an instance of std::vector named results, calling the constructor taking a begin and end iterator:
std::vector<float> results(std::istream_iterator<int>(actualLineStream),
Foo bar; // Declares an instance of Foo named bar
Foo bar(); // Declares a function named bar that takes no parameters and returns a Foo
//                         +--------- Note extra parentheses!! ---------+
//                         |                                            |
//                         V                                            V
std::vector<float> results((std::istream_iterator<int>(actualLineStream)),
std::istream_iterator<int> resultsBegin(actualLineStream);
std::istream_iterator<int> resultsEnd;
std::vector<float> results(resultsBegin, resultsEnd);

it fixes the issue ok, I think that the problem is that I haven't initialized the vector but I dont know... anyway, I am getting an error saying that this is wrong: , drawable.at(i)->draw(); because drawable.at(i) is a render pointer

This might help you I'm a long time Java user learning C++ with Qt and I'm having a lot of trouble understanding how methods work. Right now, I'm trying to figure out databases, and tried to simplify my code with a header. Normally in Java I would just have a class called DatabaseControl with a void method that would execute whatever I wanted. For example, adding an employee to a database, as I'm doing now. I'd instantiate the class, by doing something like , You made an error here:
DatabaseControl myDBControl();
DatabaseControl myDBControl;

it fixes the issue setDay is not static it needs to be called from an instance of the class, so you cannot call it like
