I wish this help you I would not recommend to commit those images back to the bare repo (if those images are large or numerous, the size of the bare repo could quickly becomes too important for easy cloning) But you can use you hook to copy back those images in some shared directory that you can then access from your workstation (and that you can rsync, in order to get only the delta).
Deployment of one .net page from a test to live server
wish helps you As I understand your question, I'm pretty sure the answer is yes. Just copy the page, and the assemblies needed (and if it is dependent on any other updated assemblies). Take a look at the date modified as a hint of what to upload as well. Granted, there's always a chance this could go wrong. So make sure you backup what you need to in the event something goes wrong (probably a good idea no matter what)
500 Internal Server error on App deployment to live server
I hope this helps . In your Web2Py folder there is '/scripts' and it helps you to deploy web2py from scratch automatically. You don't need to do any research, just run one of the script according to the type of your machine you are using on EC2. Coz there are different scripts as per OS. Run the shell script with root and that's it. You can access your site at ip:8000 by default. You can change the .sh or script file if you need to use some other port for deployment in test phase. @Tarun it doesn't hurt to click on a link and I am doing this all the time when coders paste gist around.
