Python Pmw and cx_Freeze?

will help you Unfortunately, the original file has some problems with tabs and spaces (just look at the while indentation in expandlinks).
I fixed those indentation problems, changed regsub.gsub with re.sub and eliminated the string import, using the string type methods.
   Pmw.py has been created.
   Before running freeze, also copy the following file(s):
   C:\Users\joaquin\Desktop\Pmw.1.3.2\src\Pmw\Pmw_1_3\lib\PmwBlt.py
   C:\Users\joaquin\Desktop\Pmw.1.3.2\src\Pmw\Pmw_1_3\lib\PmwColor.py
#!/usr/bin/env python

# Helper script when freezing Pmw applications. It concatenates all
# Pmw megawidget files into a single file, 'Pmw.py', in the current
# directory. The script must be called with one argument, being the
# path to the 'lib' directory of the required version of Pmw.
# To freeze a Pmw application, you will also need to copy the
# following files to the application directory before freezing:
#
#    PmwBlt.py PmwColor.py

import os
import re
import sys

# The order of these files is significant. Files which reference
# other files must appear later. Files may be deleted if they are not
# used.

Python file (.py) converted to .exe fails to execute (Python 3.4 + cx_Freeze)

may help you . I figured out. My scripts file name was the issue. During conversion, cx_freeze made module library .zip, but the location of the scripts main module was affected by the name. A dot in the name made a subdirectory to library .zip file so the path to main was wrong and couldn't be found.

cx_freeze error "cx_Freeze.freezer.ConfigError: no base named Console"

This might help you It appears that this line is failing argsSource.base = self._GetFileName("bases", name, ext) which means that it can't find that file, which makes sense. Check this folder C:\Python27\Lib\site-packages\cx_Freeze\bases for Console.exe. If you don't have that then try reinstalling cx_freeze. That's my directory for python. I would assume yours is in the same place but if not just search for it
